The press needs to learn the words "common decency" and "respect." Just because someone makes a movie or is popular does not give the press a right to give them no peace.
by Kim Byers, Hudson, Florida
I believe the paparazzi are more than entitled to snap photos of any celebrity they come into contact with. Celebrities choose their life and, when they choose it, they have to take the positive and negative aspects that go along with it.
by Kristi Hogan, Hong Kong
The paparazzi that chase the celebrities are animals in most cases and to an extent murderers (in one case, Princess Diana). There should be laws enacted and enforced that keep these mindless morons from pursuing any celebrity and maintaining a polite distance from them.
by Jeff Devlin, Geneva, Florida
I get tired of the media thinking we really want to know all the details about the stars. They are just people. I like some of their movies or shows, but who cares about the individual actors.
by S. Bishop, Brownwood, Texas
Celebrities have and always will be the target of the media. It is what the public wants to see. If we choose to be in the public eye, we must accept this as part of the gig.
by Ellen, West Hills, California
I definitely think they go over the top. You're talking about a woman and her children! In the past it has been very dangerous to stalk celebrities -- Look at Princess Diana!
by Marla Gill, Yorba Linda, California
I think the paparazzi go over the top, but who is to blame should be the question asked. The paparazzi couldn't exist if it weren't for the fans desperately panting to get a glimpse of their favorite celebrity. And what about the celebrities themselves? They want the attention when they are new to the business, but once they are established, they cry about it. They can't have it both ways.
by K. Marciano, Minneapolis, Minnesota
I think that the paparazzi should focus more on Angelina's cause to help educate children, instead of trying to expose an innocent new baby to their mayhem.
by Anastasia, Quinnesec, Michigan
The paparazzi are single handedly one of the dastardly and despicable regimes in today's society.
by Paul, Clayton, Florida
I cannot understand how people can become so overly possessed with movie stars and their children. I honestly can't see why people care whether Brad and Angelina have a boy or girl or monkey. I mean, there are so many important issues facing our world: Why give your thoughts or your attention to them. I say leave them alone to their privacy.

Hi John. Is it proper to use the quotations more than one time? One for each body paragraph?
ReplyDeleteAnd to make the sentences shorter?
ReplyDeleteHi Gerda. Yes, of course. As long as those quotations flow well in your body paragraphs.
ReplyDeleteTo make the sentences shorter? Do you mean to make a long quotation short? If that is the case, of course! All that you have to do is to put this ... in order to let your reader know that you omit a few words here.
For example:
Original sentence: He said, "Using a quotation in an article properly is surely helpful."
Revised one: He said, "Using a quotation...properly is surely helpful."
Thank you for answering. :D:D
